Refund Policy

Try Timeback for 30 days. If it isn't for you, ask for a full refund.

The 30-day guarantee

Full refund on your first payment within 30 days. Applies to monthly and annual subscriptions and to one-time licenses such as the Founding Member license.

How to ask for a refund

Email [email protected] with "Refund request" in the subject. Send it from the address you bought with, and include your receipt.

We act on the request within five days. Once a refund is approved, the money goes back to the payment method you used, normally within a few business days.

Paddle handles payments for Timeback and is the merchant of record, which is why the charge on your statement says Paddle. Your account page opens Paddle's billing portal, where you can see receipts, update your card, and cancel a subscription. It can't issue refunds, so email us instead.

When the refund is issued:

  • Your account moves to read-only. You can sign in and remove your device, but you can't edit your block list.
  • Existing blocks keep working until the profile on the device reaches its expiry date, which is up to 30 days out. Then iOS removes it.
  • A refunded Founding Member license is revoked. Buying again later won't restore the Founding price.

Canceling a subscription

Canceling and refunding are separate requests. To cancel, sign in to your account and choose Manage billing, or use the subscription portal linked in your receipt. Both open the same place. No support email needed. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Founding Member and Lifetime licenses are paid once, so there's nothing to cancel.

After 30 days

We don't prorate refunds for partial periods or unused time on an annual plan.

Exceptions we'll always refund:

  • Duplicate or accidental charges.
  • A material Timeback-side bug that prevents you from using the service and that we can't fix in a reasonable window.
  • Whatever the law where you live entitles you to. Some countries give buyers longer than 30 days to change their mind. Where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law applies.

If the platform changes

Timeback relies on Apple's iOS supervision behavior, which is outside our control. If Apple changes iOS so the mechanism stops working:

  • On a monthly or annual plan, cancel any time to stop future charges. If the technique goes down broadly, we may pause billing rather than charge for a service we can't deliver.
  • A lifetime license entitles you to access for as long as we operate the service and the platform supports the mechanism. It isn't a promise that every future device or iOS version will be supervisable, so a platform change down the road isn't on its own grounds for a refund outside the 30-day window.

If a charge looks wrong

Email us before you dispute it with your bank. We can refund you directly, which usually takes days. A bank dispute goes through Paddle and can take weeks.
